Arkansas Travelers News Release
North Little Rock, AR-A pitchers duel through seven innings turned in the Tulsa Drillers favor as they capitalized on a four-run eighth inning to knock off the Arkansas Travelers, 6-4 on Thursday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Tulsa scored four times in the top of the eighth and held off two Trav threats to close out the game. Arkansas' loss coupled with Springfield's win drops the Travs into a tie for first place atop the division with 11 games remaining. Both team's starters threw the ball well but did not factor in the decisions. Mitchell White tossed five innings of one-run ball for the Drillers while Chase De Jong pitched six innings and gave up just one tally for the Travs.
