WICHITA, KS - Free passes once again hurt the Tulsa Drillers on Sunday afternoon. Tulsa pitchers issued six walks on the afternoon, and four of those walks eventually scored, and proved to be the difference in the Wichita Wind Surge's 6-2 win over Tulsa at Riverfront Stadium.

The defeat gave the Drillers a series split with Wichita and dropped their season record under .500 at 7-8.

For the fifth time in six games in the series, the Drillers scored first. With a runner at third base in the top of the second inning, Brandon Lewis hit a slow rolling ground ball up the third base line for an infield single that allowed the runner to score.

The Wind Surge used a double and a hit batter with the bases loaded to take a 2-1 lead in the third inning.

After a sacrifice fly from Lewis tied the game, three walks, a balk, and a three-run homer put Wichita back in front 6-2 in the fourth inning.

Tulsa's bats were silenced over the final five innings, earning just three hits in that span, and failing to rally from the four-run deficit.

*Fresh off a spot start for the Oklahoma City Baseball Club on Tuesday, Hyun-il Choi made his second start for the Drillers on Sunday afternoon. Choi was charged with three runs on two hits, three walks and three hit batters. He received his first loss with the Drillers.

*Michael Hobbs pitched two more scoreless innings in the series finale. The right-hander has not allowed an earned run in 8.1 innings pitched this season.

*Braydon Fisher and Logan Boyer also had scoreless outings from the bullpen. Tulsa's bullpen has combined for a 2.35 ERA this season, the second-best in the Texas League.

*Bubba Alleyne finished 2 for 4 and was the only Tulsa hitter to record two hits.

*The Coors Light Propeller Series is currently 3-3 with 18 games remaining this season between Tulsa and Wichita.

The Drillers return to ONEOK Field to begin the first half of a 12-game home stand, with a six-game series against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Game one for the extended home stand is set for Tuesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. and the starting pitchers are slated to be:

NWA - LHP Noah Cameron (0-1, 1.84 ERA)

TUL- LHP Justin Wrobleski (1-0, 1.88 ERA)
