WICHITA, KS - Free passes once again hurt the Tulsa Drillers on Sunday afternoon. Tulsa pitchers issued six walks on the afternoon, and four of those walks eventually scored, and proved to be the difference in the Wichita Wind Surge's 6-2 win over Tulsa at Riverfront Stadium.

The defeat gave the Drillers a series split with Wichita and dropped their season record under .500 at 7-8.

For the fifth time in six games in the series, the Drillers scored first. With a runner at third base in the top of the second inning, Brandon Lewis hit a slow rolling ground ball up the third base line for an infield single that allowed the runner to score.

The Wind Surge used a double and a hit batter with the bases loaded to take a 2-1 lead in the third inning.

After a sacrifice fly from Lewis tied the game, three walks, a balk, and a three-run homer put Wichita back in front 6-2 in the fourth inning.

Tulsa's bats were silenced over the final five innings, earning just three hits in that span, and failing to rally from the four-run deficit.
