Last Game: Saturday: Lansing 5, Dayton 4. The Dragons battled back after falling behind 4-0 in the second inning to eventually tie the game at 4-4, but Lansing broke the tie with a run in the eighth to win. The tie-breaking run came on an unusual play in the batter raced around to score without the ball the leaving the infield, reaching on a bunt single and advancing on two Dayton errors. Hendrik Clementina and Raul Wallace each hit solo home runs for Dayton.
Playoff Chase: The Dragons must finish in the top two among eligible teams in the East Division in the Second Half (six teams competing; Bowling Green and Lansing ineligible). The Dragons currently are the wildcard leader (#2 seed) in the Second Half race, one-half game ahead of Lake County and Fort Wayne. The top four teams in the Second Half race are separated by just one-half game.
