Dragons Host Great American Beer Tasting Again in 2014

Dayton, Ohio - The beer connoisseurs' favorite, Great American Beer Tasting, returns for its seventh year at Fifth Third Field on Saturday, August 9 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The event, which began in 2008 as a partnership between the Dayton Dragons and Heidelberg Distributing, has grown into one of the largest beer tasting events in the region, and is a "can't miss" on the summer calendar of many Miami Valley residents.

With 80 beers available for sampling, this year's event showcases the biggest number and widest variety of beers in Great American Beer Tasting history. Popular big-name brews will sit side-by-side with some of the smallest craft beers on the market.

All attendees will be in the running for high-end Anheuser-Busch and Dragons raffle prizes given away towards the end of the event (must be present to win).

Prizes include a Budweiser recliner, a Landshark cornhole set, a Michelob Ultra bicycle, a Bud Light speaker tower, Dragons memorabilia, and much more.

Additional raffle tickets will be available to purchase at the Great American Beer Tasting.

For the price of $25 in advance ($35 the day of), participants will receive:

- 20, 4oz. samples of beer

- A custom Hoegaarden sampling glass

- One raffle ticket

The Great American Beer Tasting will happen rain or shine, with the festivities taking place on the covered portions of the concourse at Fifth Third Field.
