Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Bowling Green Hot Rods (affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) in the third game of the 2018 Midwest League season. This is the 19th Home Opening Day game for the Dragons. The two clubs opened the season with two games in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Thursday and Friday nights.
Last night: Friday: Bowling Green 8, Dayton 4. Bowling Green enjoyed two three-run innings as they collected 11 hits on the way to sweeping the two-game set in Kentucky. Ronaldo Hernandez collected three hits and scored two runs for the Hot Rods. For Dayton, Hendrik Clementina had a home run, double, and walk. Stuart Fairchild added a solo home run.
