Today's Game: The Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lugnuts (affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) in the third game of a four-game set. Season Series: Lansing 13, Dayton 4. (At Lansing: Lansing 7, Dayton 1). Streaks: Dayton: Lost 1 (Won 7 of last 9). Lansing: Won 1.

Last Game: Lansing defeated Dayton 8-3 on Sunday afternoon. The Lugnuts hit three home runs including a tie-breaking three-run homer in the sixth inning by Michael Crouse. Kevin Ahrens hit a two-run homer, his second homer in the series, in the seventh. The Dragons struggled at the plate. They collected just three hits over the first seven innings and finished with six. Didi Gregorius was 2 for 4 for Dayton. Henry Rodriguez was 1 for 5 to extend his hitting streak to 14 straight games.

Today's Starting Pitcher: Daniel Corcino makes his fifth start with the Dragons tonight. In his last start on Wednesday at South Bend, Corcino suffered his first loss (4.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 4 SO). Corcino joined the Dragons from Billings (Pioneer League), where he made nine starts, going 1-3 with a 3.40 ERA (ninth in the league at the time of his promotion). He is a 19-year-old native of the Dominican Republic. He was signed as an international free agent on January 11, 2008. This is his third season in the Reds organization.

* Henry Rodriguez has hit safely in 14 straight games, going 24 for 56, .429, to raise his batting average to .305. He is batting .336 since June 1 to raise his batting average from .260 to .305. He is hitting .339 in the second half to lead the team.

* Josh Garton is 8 for 19, .421 over his last five games, raising his average from .233 to .246.
