Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Fort Wayne TinCaps (affiliate of the San Diego Padres) in the first game of a three-game series.

Last Game: Lansing defeated Dayton 6-3 on Friday to take two-out-of-three in the series.

Ludwick: Reds outfielder Ryan Ludwick completed a three-game rehab stint with the Dragons last night. He went 1 for 6 with three walks with Dayton.

* Seth Mejias-Brean has five home runs and 15 RBI over his last eight games. He leads all of professional baseball in July OPS at 1.224. He is 28 for 59, .475 over his last 15 games to raise his average from .266 to .300. He has a 10-game hitting streak. He leads the team and ranks second in the Midwest League in second half batting average at .363. Since May 12, he is batting .346 in 65 games to rank second in the league behind Leonardo Reginato of Bowling Green (.349).
