
Dragons Announce Roster Transactions

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster transactions today:
First baseman/outfielder Daniel Pigott has been placed on the disabled list with a sprained shoulder.
Outfielder Nick Benedetto has been transferred to Dayton from Bakersfield.
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
Pigott has appeared in 38 games for the Dragons this season, batting .257 with no home runs and 16 runs batted in.
Benedetto has played for three clubs in the Reds organization this season and spent most of the month of May with the Dragons, batting .191 with one home run and seven runs batted in, appearing in 13 games. He has played in 22 games at Billings, batting .269 with one home run and five runs batted in. At Bakersfield, he appeared in 13 games, batting .136.
The Dragons play in Appleton, Wisconsin tonight against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at 7:35 p.m. EDT. (Radio: WONE-AM 980; daytondragons.com).
