Draft Eligible OHL Talent Ready for Big Opportunity in Montreal

The hockey world turns its attention to Montreal this week as the 2022 NHL Draft brings the next generation of stars to centre stage. Potential first overall selection Shane Wright of the Kingston Frontenacs leads a draft class stocked with talent, with eight OHL names ranked inside the first round of NHL Central Scouting's final instalment released May 5th.
First round proceedings get underway on Thursday at 7:00pm from the Bell Centre before rounds 2-7 begin Friday at 11:00am. All seven rounds of the Draft will be televised in Canada on Sportsnet (English) and TVA Sports (French). In the United States, Thursday's first round will be carried on ESPN before rounds 2-7 are televised on NHL Network.
