Doubleheader Scheduled for June 3 at Regions Field

RMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Barons and the Jackson Generals will play a doubleheader on June 3 at Regions Field as a makeup of an earlier rain postponement.

Game one of the series will begin at 5:00 p.m. and all gates will open 30 minutes prior at 4:30. Game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games will be seven innings.

It will be a make up of the series finale in Jackson that was rained out on May 10. Game two will be the designated makeup game and game one will be the regularly scheduled game of the Barons and Generals June 2 - 6 series. The Generals will be the home team for game two.

All tickets that day will be good for both games.

The Barons will conclude their Tennessee Smokies series and 10-game road trip at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. Left-hander Bernardo Flores (2-4, 2.84) will make his eighth start of the season.

WJQX-FM 100.5 will be the home of the Barons on Wednesday. Fans can tune into the Coca-Cola Pregame Show starting at 5:45 p.m.

The Birmingham Barons are the proud Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The Barons will open the home portion of their 2019 season, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of Michael Jordan's lone year in baseball, against the Tennessee Smokies at 7:05 p.m. April 10 at Regions Field.
