July 17, 2014 - American Association (AA)
St. Paul Saints News Release

ST. PAUL, MN (July 17, 2014) - Two-a-days may be a football thing, but the Saints are seeing double during the longest homestand of the season. Whether it is Hall of Famers, wrestling, free season tickets or handing out gold medals, the Saints have it all during the next seven days. Bragging rights last forever from the Saints July 18-24 homestand.

Friday, July 18 vs. Laredo Lemurs (7:05 p.m.) Lou Brock Appearance presented by Novo Nordisk- Lou Brock makes his way to Midway to kick off the week long homestand courtesy of Novo Nordisk. The Hall of Fame Brock, considered one of the greatest base stealers of all-time totaled 938 in his illustrious career. While he ran most of his career, the one thing he is not running from is Type 2 Diabetes. He will be at the park to explain how to live a normal life with diabetes and will be available for photo ops. Enjoy Xcel Energy Friday Night Fireworks after the game.

Saturday, July 19 vs. Laredo Lemurs (7:05 p.m.) Send in the Clones- Doubles, doubles everywhere! Scientists have already successfully cloned sheep, dogs, frogs, pigs, cows, camels and are currently working on cloning woolly mammoths. The Saints are pushing the envelope and cloning the fun-loving entertainment staff. It all adds up to twice the fun at Midway Stadium. You can double down by winning up to $77,777 on St. Croix Casino Big Money $aturday.

Sunday July 20 vs. Laredo Lemurs (1:05 p.m.) Half-pint Heroes Day Presented by Memorial Blood Centers and Post-Game Wrestling Presented by the American Wrestling Federation- What better way to celebrate blood donors than with an all-out brawl? Any and all blood from the post-game wrestling match presented by the American Wrestling Federation will be donated to charity. Fortunately, you don't have to take a chair to the back to get a chance to donate to Memorial Blood Centers. Kids can get team autographs and run the bases after the game on Savers Family Sunday.

Monday July 21 vs. Sioux Falls Canaries (7:05 p.m.) Perms on the Berm and Dollar Dance Presented by TopLine Federal Credit Union- Want a chance at a free season ticket? Those in attendance will receive a coupon to Aveda Institute Minneapolis and get their best Brady Bunch "˜do. Each person rocking the 80s hairstyle will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win season tickets for life in the new Lowertown Ballpark. Don't worry if you're not the winner, just for looking foolish you get a ticket to a game on the berm in the Lowertown Ballpark in 2015. The Saints aren't responsible for any other crazy decisions you may make as you turn back time. One good decision you can make is to donate during the Dollar Dance presented by TopLine Federal Credit Union. The first 1,935 fans, the same year year TopLine Federal Credit Union opened, receive a crisp dollar bill and you choose how to donate it to the 10 non-profits vying for your dollar inside the gate. Don't feel limited to only one buck, dig deep and give more to these worthy causes. Your good deed may be rewarded during Hannay's Marine Monday where one lucky fan could win a boat.

Tuesday July 22 vs. Sioux Falls Canaries (7:05 p.m.) SeigoPalooza and The Toilet Paper Drive Presented by Innovative Office Solutions- Ushertainer Seigo Masabuchi has many talents beyond "Karoake with a Japanese Guy" during Saints games. Find out just how many he has during SeigoPalooza. One thing is for sure, he should have plenty of toilet paper to keep things clean because of the Toilet Paper Drive presented by Innovative Office Solutions. Charmin has already donated 25,000 rolls of toilet paper to Second Harvest Heartland. We will drop toilet paper knowledge during Metropolitan State University Tuesday while you enjoy craft beer specials.

Wednesday July 23 vs. Sioux Falls Canaries (1:05 p.m.) Office Olympics- As Nelly once said, two is not a winner and three nobody remembers. Gold lives forever. Chase gold against your buddies and reclaim your stapler while avoiding work on a Wednesday afternoon out at Midway Stadium. Stretch and make sure you get the performance food you need with the craziest tailgate party of the year before the game on Walser Wednesday.

Thursday July 24 vs. Sioux Falls Canaries (7:05 p.m.) Saints Emcee Rusty Kath Returns Presented by the University of Minnesota-Morris- We knew him before he became famous. Rusty Kath works for the Minnesota Wild and Tampa Bay Rays now, but the long-time Saints announcer makes a special appearance courtesy of the University of Minnesota-Morris. The night gets better with $1 beers all game on Thirsty Thursday.

With July at its halfway point, we are cruising in for a final landing of fun. We have something for everyone as it is all play and no work to keep you and Jack from being dull.

Saints tickets continue to be a tremendous value. Tickets are $6 for general admission, $9 for outfield reserved and $14 for infield reserved. Friday Home Games with Post-Game Fireworks (except August 28) are an additional $2 per ticket.
