Donny Brady and Mike Pringle earn Player of the Week honours

(Edmonton) In the aftermath of the Eskimos 57-16 dismantling of the Ottawa Renegades, Eskimo running back Mike Pringle and defensive back Donny Brady have been named CFL Players of the Week for Week 11.
Pringle pounded Ottawa with four rushing touchdowns while racking up 114 yards on 29 carries and adding another 16 yards through the air. This is Mike's second career Player of the Week honour as an Eskimo with the previous award coming in 2003 after two touchdowns and 148 rushing yards in Week 12 versus Calgary. Pringle continues his pursuit of George Reed's all-time CFL rushing record and sits just 191 yards shy of the 16,116 yard mark.
Brady picked up defensive honours after his two interceptions and four tackles versus the Renegades. Both of his picks were converted into touchdowns by a red-hot Eskimo offense. This is Brady's third career Player of the Week honour, earning the award last year in Week 14 versus Ottawa and also in Edmonton's victory over Saskatchewan in the West Division Final.
The Eskimos travel to Calgary for the annual Labour Day game on Monday, September 6 at 1:30 pm. The next Eskimos home game is Friday, September 10 versus the Calgary Stampeders at 7:30 pm.
