Dolis Returns to I-Cubs

Albuquerque, NM - RH Rafael Dolis joins the Iowa Cubs active roster today and will be available out of the bullpen for today's game against the Albuquerque Isotopes. The Chicago Cubs optioned Dolis to Iowa yesterday when LH Jeff Beliveau was recalled.

Dolis began the season with Chicago and held the closer's role for a time in late April into May. He is 2-4 with a 6.44 ERA and four saves in 27 games in two stints with Chicago this season. Dolis saw his first triple-A action with Iowa earlier this year from May 29-June 27 and was 0-1 with a 2.92 ERA and three saves in 11 games.

The Cubs wrap up a four-game series in Albuquerque today at 1:05 pm Central time. Left-hander Brooks Raley (4-5, 3.18) will start for the Cubs against right-hander John Ely (8-7, 3.55) for the 'Topes. The game will be broadcast live on AM 940 with the On-Deck Circle Pre-Game Show starting at 12:45.
