'Dogs Walked off in Game One

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Kyle Kinman allowed just two runs over six innings, but Sioux City's Sebastian Zawada hit a two-out, game-winning single in the 10th inning and the Saltdogs fell 3-2 in the 250th game of the all-time series at Mercy Field on Friday night.
Kinman tossed his second quality start of the year, and Lincoln (15-12) led 2-1 in the 5th after Skyler Weber tied the game with an RBI single and Gunnar Buhner gave the 'Dogs a lead with a bunt single.
Sioux City (18-11) tied the game on a wild pitch in the fifth, and it remained scoreless until the 10th, when Zawada's single scored Jose Sermo - who led off the inning with his third walk.
Carter Hope tossed two shutout innings, and Tyler Anderson pitched a scoreless 9th inning. Jason Seever took his first loss of the year after allowing the winning run.
Curt Smith walked twice and Ryan Long went 1-for-2 with two walks. Edgar Corcino extended his hitting streak to a season-high four games after he clubbed his third double of the streak in the 9th, but he was stranded in scoring position.
Sioux City's Nate Gercken earned his first win of the year after tossing 2.1 shutout innings. Max Kuhns pitched two scoreless after Brett Adcock allowed two runs over 5.2 innings.
The 'Dogs and X's continue the set on Saturday. First pitch time is scheduled for 6:05 p.m., and can be heard on ESPN Lincoln 101.5 FM/1480 AM.
