
Doctors, Lawyers Face off this Friday

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks will host the 10th annual Doctors vs. Lawyers charity baseball game, sponsored by Blackhawk Bank, at 3 p.m. Friday, August 5. Following the charity game, the RiverHawks will play the Normal CornBelters at 7:05 p.m.
Gates open at 2:30 p.m.
The first Doctors-Lawyers game took place in 1887, and the rivalry was renewed in 2003. The lawyers defeated the doctors 16-7 last year, and hold a 5-4 all-time record against the doctors.
This year's winning team will earn an extra $250 for their charity. Both teams will also receive hospitality in a VIP Tent immediately following the game, courtesy of Blackhawk Bank.
