Doc Walker to perform at Thursday\'s Bomber game

WINNIPEG, MB – The 2002-2003 Canadian Country Music Association Independent Group of the Year Doc Walker will perform at this Thursday's Blue Bomber home opener against the Ottawa Renegades.

Doc Walker – 2004 CCMA Fans' Choice Award nominee – is a five-piece band that plays energetic rockin' country. They have produced 10 singles in the past two years including the smash hit "Rocket Girl."

Game sponsor The Casinos of Winnipeg present the pre-game party in the South end zone, after doors open at 6:00 p.m. Doc Walker hit the stage for a 45-minute set beginning at 6:45 p.m. The group will sing the National Anthem right before kickoff and will sign autographs in the South East corner of the stadium at half-time.
