
DL David Sumter Assigned to the Rattlers

Arizona Rattlers News Release
Phoenix, Ariz. - The world champion Arizona Rattlers have been assigned defensive lineman David Sumter for the 2015 Arena Football League (AFL) season. This is Sumter's first season in the AFL and with the Arizona Rattlers.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Sumter played for the Long Island University Post Pioneers, where during his senior season (2014) he earned Eastern College Athletic Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year, the Northeast-10 Defensive Lineman of the Year, and All-Northeast-10 Second Team honors.
The Hollis, New York native attended Campus Magnet High School where he earned the All-Borough honors as a senior. He was also played Basketball and ran track.
The Arizona Rattlers (8-2) will face the Portland Thunder (3-7) Friday, June 12th at 7 p.m. in the Moda Center. The game will be streamed online at ESPN3.com or the WatchESPN app on a tablet or smartphone. For additional information please visit www.azrattlers.com.
