Dine and Donate: Republic FC Partners with Bambina's Pizza to Create "Old Glory" Speciality Pizza

An Indomitable Pizza for an Indomitable Community: Republic FC and Bambina's Pizza have partnered up to make a brand-new specialty Republic FC-themed pizza for a Dine and Donate fundraising initiative.

Beginning this month, 10% of the proceeds from every "Old Glory" pizza sold will be donated to the Republic FC Foundation. "Old Glory" comes with shredded mozzarella, sausage, ricotta, calabrese peppers, hot honey, French fries and basil.

Opened in 2022, Bambina's Pizza and Pasta is a family-owned restaurant that is committed to making great food from scratch every day to allow diners to experience the taste of Italy right here in Sacramento.

"I believe that partnerships make us stronger, and we all need to stay together to continue growing together," said Bambina's Pizza and Pasta Owner, Juanes Ramazzini. "The Dine and donate is something that we support, we love our community and we always want to support our community."

The Republic FC Foundation aims to support local communities, making Sacramento a better place to live, work, and play through the beautiful game. One of the Foundation's projects that rely on community partnerships and sponsors is its Mini Pitches. The club is on a mission to grow the beautiful game by providing equitable access to mini pitches in the greater Sacramento Region. The project began in 2019, with the first mini pitch built on a refurbished tennis court that had been previously inactive since 2016. Since then, 13 mini pitches have been built in the Greater Sacramento Area, a feat only made possible through community partnerships. Learn more about the Mini Pitches project here.

Located in the R Street Corridor's Ice Blocks, Bambina's Pizza and Pasta has quickly become a Sacramento favorite, bringing together City pride, sports culture, and delicious food.
