JACKSONVILLE - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's contest with the Mississippi Braves at Bragan Field.

In 63 contests for Jacksonville this year, Dietrich has posted a .271 average (59-218) with 11 homers and 38 RBI. The 24-year-old had been on a tear in August, compiling a .303 mark (27-89), adding six longballs and 20 RBI in 26 games for the Suns.

In a corresponding move, infielder Ryan Fisher has been transferred to Jacksonville from High-A Jupiter. Fisher returns to the Suns after accumulating a .215 clip (31-144), adding five homers and 23 RBI in 49 games during his previous stint in Jacksonville between May 9 through July 18. In his 69 contests with the Hammerheads in 2013, the 25-year-old has hit for a .294 average (75-294), in addition to four roundtrippers and 28 RBI.

The Suns roster stands at 25, and a revised roster is attached.

Jacksonville squares off against the Mississippi Braves, the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, tonight in the third game of their series at 7:05 p.m. at Bragan Field. Left-hander Adam Conley (11-7, 3.23 ERA) is expected to take the hill for the Suns looking for his 12th victory of the year as Jacksonville enters tonight a half game behind the Mobile BayBears in the South Division standings with three games remaining.
