LaMarre, Fellhauer Promoted to Louisville

Blue Wahoos outfielder Ryan LaMarre will get his first taste of Triple-A Louisville. LaMarre has been promoted to Louisville alongside fellow outfielder Josh Fellhauer who played in eight games for the Blue Wahoos.

LaMarre hit .246 in his second season with Pensacola. He added 10 home runs and 39 RBI. His strongest attribute is his play in the outfield where he had 13 assists to go with a .980 fielding percentage. A second round pick out of the University of Michigan, LaMarre is currently ranked as the Reds No. 14 prospect according to MLB.com.

In a corresponding move, Pensacola is getting infielder Juan Silverio and RHP Pat Doyle from Bakersfield. Silverio was originally a product of the Chicago White Sox but was acquired this offseason by the Reds. He was hitting .286 with 19 home runs and 80 RBI in 126 games with Bakersfield.

Doyle made 50 appearances out of the Bakersfield bullpen and went 4-1 with a 2.97 ERA. He also converted 11 of 13 save tries. He has allowed runs only once in his last 18 outings spanning 19 innings. Cal League hitters were batting just .216 against him.
