Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, IA - Fighting Saints defenseman Caelum Dick has announced his Division I commitment to the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
"I am thrilled to commit to Alaska Fairbanks," Dick said. "They have a great hockey program and culture which made this an easy decision for me."
The second-year Saint has played in 39 games this season, amassing a goal and six points for Dubuque. At the start of the season, Dick played with Lucas St. Louis as his defense partner almost exclusively. Since St. Louis' injury in late december, Dick has not missed a step playing with Matthew Desiderio as his usual defense partner.
Last season, the Sherwood Park, Alberta native skated in 57 games for the Saints. He scored four goals and added 11 assists during his rookie season.
Dick's commitment to the Nanooks completes the Saints defense corps' Division I commitments. The Saints now have 21 of their 22 skaters committed to play Division I hockey.
