Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays are proud to announce that the team's Club House Store in Lakeview Square Mall will host its Opening Day on Saturday, August 6.
To celebrate the occasion, Devil Rays' players Patrick Cottrell and Patrick Breen, the team's mascot Doodle and the voice of the Devil Rays, Mike Wagenheim, will all be on hand from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Various door prizes will also be awarded during those two hours.
The team will have popcorn and hot dogs available for those fans who want to partake in the baseball experience before coming to the game on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.
Southwest Michigan is also offering some discounts all day long. One of the biggest offer is that all styles of hats will be at least 20 percent off.
"Having our âOpening Day' this Saturday at Lakeview Square Mall is a great way for fans to check out what we're doing this season," Rays General Manager Martie Cordaro said. "The Club House Store is a way for fans to think baseball year round without being at the ballpark."
The Devil Rays store will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. The store features all of the items that can be found on the team's website, southwestmichigandevilrays.com, or in the Devil Rays Gift Shop at C.O. Brown Stadium in Bailey Park. For more information or for tickets, call the Devil Rays at 269-660-2287.
