
Detroit Tigers Move Torkelson and Dingler up to Double-A

Comstock Park, MI - The Detroit Tigers announced today that infielders Spencer Torkelson and Dillon Dingler are promoted to Double-A baseball.
Whitecaps: "We could not have asked for more production, excitement, hard work, and fun from those two," said Jim Jarecki, VP & General Manager of the Whitecaps. "We wish them the best for this big next step and we will be watching them all the way on the road to the Tigers."
About West Michigan Whitecaps: The Whitecaps minor league baseball team was established in 1994. The Whitecaps are the High- A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the Eastern Division of the High-A Central League.
