Destroyers activate McCleary off IR

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League have activated offensive/defensive lineman Norris McCleary off injured reserve, the team announced today. McCleary will be in uniform when the Destroyers travel to Arizona to take on the Rattlers at America West Arena on Friday night.

McCleary (6-5, 305, East Carolina) joined the Destroyers this past offseason for his rookie season in the AFL after spending time in training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals prior to the 2004 NFL season. In six games with Columbus, McCleary has registered 6.0 tackles (5 solo), two forced fumbles and one sack. He has missed the past three games with a knee injury.

Friday's game with Arizona will be broadcast live on FSN-Arizona with kickoff set for 10 p.m. (ET). The game will be shown locally on FSN-Ohio with a two-hour tape delay, set to air at midnight (ET).
