THE SPECIALIST: Las Vegas OS MARCUS NASH has been the most productive offensive player over the past two seasons. Nash has more points (474), touchdowns (78), receiving touchdowns (78) and receptions (240) than any other player in the League. Colorado OS DAMIAN HARRELL has come the closest with 408 points, 68 touchdowns and 68 receiving touchdowns. Nash finished the 2004 No. 1 season in every category with the exception of receiving yards (No. 2) and is currently ranked No. 1 in every category except for receptions (No. 2). Nash is also No. 3 in money receptions (62), a reception that results in a first down or touchdown.

KEEP ON RUNNING: Chicago FB/LB BOB MCMILLEN is looking to become only the fifth player in the AFL to rush for 70 touchdowns. McMillen currently has 69 rushing touchdowns and is looking to earn his 70th as the Chicago Rush host the defending ArenaBowl XVIII Champion San Jose SaberCats this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC, from Allstate Arena.

THE SACK MACHINE: Las Vegas FB/LB FRANK CARTER leads the League in sacks (9.0) and is on pace to finish the season with 14.5. If Carter continues on his current pace, he will break the single-season record of 13.0 set by OL/DL CRAIG WALLS of the Pittsburgh Gladiators in 1987. Carter, who likes his sacks in bunches, has recorded 2.0 sacks in three different games and tied a career high 3.0 sacks in Week 3 against New York.

Tight end receptions have risen 7.9 percent since last year. In 2004, 131-of-6,211 receptions were caught by tight ends. Entering Week 11, 82-of-the-3,604 receptions on the season were made by tight ends. New Orleans OL/DL B.J. COHEN, Chicago OL/DL JOHN MOYER and Columbus OL/DL JAMARR WARD lead all tight ends with five receptions apiece. Cohen is the only one of the three who also recorded at least one reception last season (10).

FOLLOW THE ROOKIE: The Eastern Division-leading Dallas Desperados (6-3) are off to their best start in franchise history and in position to set a new franchise record for most wins in a single season. No other Dallas team has won more than 10 games in a season. A large part of Dallas' recent success can be attributed to their rookie QB CLINT STOERNER. Stoerner currently leads all rookie passers in passing yards (2,110), completions (166) and offensive touchdowns (45). If Dallas were to win it all, Stoerner would be only the sixth quarterback, and second since GILBERT RENFROE with Detroit in 1992, to win the ArenaBowl as a rookie. To do so, Stoerner and the Dallas Desperados will have to go through their Eastern Conference rival Orlando Predators. Orlando head Coach JAY GRUDEN won ArenaBowl V as a rookie in 1991.

ROOKIE QB ARENABOWL CHAMPIONS
PLAYER TEAM YEAR
Gilbert Renfroe Detroit Drive 1992
Jay Gruden Tampa Bay Storm 1991
Art Schlichter Detroit Drive 1990
Tony Burris Detroit Drive 1989
Whit Taylor Denver Dynamite 1987

KICKING IT: Los Angeles K REMY HAMILTON is 17 points away from reaching 1,000 career points. Los Angeles' offense averages six touchdowns and three field goals a game. If Los Angeles stays on pace this Sunday and Hamilton connects on all attempts, Hamilton will have scored exactly 17 points in the game and 1,000 points in his career. MIKE BLACK (1,253) and Columbus K STEVE VIDETICH (1,170) are the only two players to in the League to reach the Century Mark.
