Desperados Finalize 2008 Opening Day Roster

Dallas Desperados News Release
DALLAS, Texas - The Dallas Desperados made personnel moves today to reach the league-mandated 24-man roster limit in preparation for the regular season. The team released DL Bryan Henderson (6-3, 300), OL Reggie Jiles (6-6, 350), DB Damien Robinson (6-3, 215) and OL Darnerius Watson (6-2, 300). In other moves, the team also made two trades, sending FB/LB Peter Lazare-Saunders (6-2, 300) to the Columbus Destroyers for DL Winfield Garnett (6-6, 320) while also acquiring DL Mike Sutton (6-4, 273) from the Kansas City Brigade for future considerations.
The team also placed DL Robert Pollard (6-2, 285) on the Reserve/Injured list, DL Daleroy Stewart (6-4, 327) on the Reserve/Left Squad list and Garnett on the Reserve/Refused to Report list.
The Dallas Desperados open the 2008 season in a nationally televised game on ABC at the Georgia Force on March 1 at 12 p.m.
