Delmore Recalled by Columbus -- Havern Released From P.T.O.

Syracuse, NY (December 20, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled defenseman Andy Delmore. The team also announced that they have released left wing Ned Havern from his professional tryout contract.

Delmore, 28, appeared in 21 games with Syracuse this season, recording 4 goals, 19 assists and 26 penalty minutes. He appeared in one game with Columbus earlier this season. In 276 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Nashville, Buffalo and Columbus, Delmore has tallied 43 goals, 58 assists and 103 penalty minutes. A native of LaSalle, Ontario, Delmore was claimed off waivers by Columbus from Detroit, October 4, 2005.

Havern, 23, appeared in one game with Syracuse, recording two penalty minutes. In 25 games with Trenton, Havern has tallied six goal, five assists and 12 penalty minutes.

The Crunch travel to Rochester on Thursday, December 22 for a 7:05 p.m. contest. On Friday, December 23, Syracuse hosts Albany for a 7:30 p.m. match-up.
