Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals announced that defenseman Anton Babchuk was reassigned to Norfolk by their parent club, the Chicago Blackhawks, yesterday. Additionally, defenseman Vladimir Gusev has been reassigned to the teams' ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Grrrowl.
Babchuk had been recalled to Chicago on December 5th, and appeared in five games with the Blackhawks. He posted 1+2=3 points, including his first NHL career goal on December 15th, four penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating.
Gusev played in one game for Norfolk, going scoreless with no PIM.
