Cameron Kneeland's three-run homer in the third inning put Delmarva in front for good, and the Shorebirds never let up on their way to an 18-6 win over the Lexington Legends Tuesday night in Salisbury, Maryland.

After Delmarva scored a run in the bottom of the first inning, the Legends took the lead with two runs in the third. With two outs, Chad Johnson doubled and scored on a single by Ryan O'Hearn. Wander Franco's double brought O'Hearn home with the go-ahead run.

With two outs and no one on in the bottom of the third, Steve Wilkerson was hit by a pitch. Logan Uxa singled, and Kneeland followed with a drive over the wall in left center field, giving the Shorebirds a 4-2 lead.

Delmarva extended the lead to 8-2 with four runs in the fourth, two coming home on a double by Wilkerson. The Shorebirds added two runs in the sixth to make the score 10-2, and after the Legends countered with Johnson's two-run double in the seventh, Delmarva wrapped it up with one run in the seventh and seven in the eighth, when T.J. Olesczuk delivered a two-run double and Ronarsy Ledesma hit a two-run homer.
