Savannah, GA - The Asheville Tourists scored early, in the middle of the game and late in the game on their way to an 8-2 victory over the Savannah Sand Gnats in the opening game of a seven-game homestead. Â
The Asheville Tourists (12-6/44-44) scored two runs in each of the first two innings off Savannah starter Casey Delgado (3-3) to build a comfortable 4-0 lead. In the first, catcher Dom Nunez began the game's scoring with a two-run homer to right field.
