SECOND IN SYSTEM: Ty Kelly ranks second in the Orioles minor league system with 90 hits. Only Xavier Avery (Bowie) has more hits this season (96). Kelly ranks tenth in the South Atlantic League .

RARE COMPANY FOR KELLY: With 10 more hits, Ty Kelly will become just the second player in franchise history to record 100 hits in two different seasons. The only other player to accomplish the feat is Quincy Ascencion, who had 112 hits in 2005 and 104 hits in 2006. Kelly had 126 hits in 2010 (17th most in a single season in franchise history) and has 89 hits this year. Gary Cates is the all-time hits leader with 360, but he only recorded 100 hits once in 2001.
