
Degurse returns, Huntsville adds two

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Former Huntsville Havoc captain, Mike Degurse, has returned to the Havoc after spending time in the League of North American Hockey.
Degurse played in 51 games last season and scored 23 goals and had 21 assists for 44 total points. He finished third on the team in penalty minutes with 198.
Forward Noah Katz, and defenseman Jesse Baraniuk both joined camp today.
Katz (5-11, 190) was released from the Wheeling Nailers camp this past weekend. He played the 2001-02 season at Union College and the 2003-05 seasons at Concordia College. He is originally from Bethesda, Maryland.
Baraniuk (5-11, 190) was released from the Roanoke Valley Vipers camp this past weekend. He played one year at Lakehead University and two years at Northern Michigan. He also played junior hockey for the Green Bay Gamblers and Thunder Bay Flyers. He is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Head Coach John Gibson must cut the roster to 18 by 4:00 CDT Thursday afternoon. The team will travel to Columbus on Friday for the season opener.
