Lehigh Valley, PA - The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have returned on loan defenseman Maxim Lamarche to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.
Photo courtesy JustSports Photography. A 24-year-old blueliner from Laval, Quebec, Lamarche is in the midst of his fourth professional season and split time last year between the Phantoms (29 games, 1 goal, 5 assists, 6 points) and Royals (27 games, 5 goals, 7 assists, 12 points).
A 6'3", 217-pound defender, he's appeared in 48 career AHL games during which he's compiled 1 goal, 7 assists and 8 points in addition to 137 career ECHL contests having amassed 17 goals, 35 assists and 52 total points.
The Phantoms return to action with a pair of games at PPL Center this weekend. First, on Friday, October 21, Lehigh Valley welcomes the Bridgeport Sound Tigers to town for the first time this season. It will be Ed Snider Tribute Night with the Phantoms set to wear specialty jerseys celebrating the legacy of the co-founder and former owner of the Philadelphia Flyers. Friday's game will also feature the WFMZ-TV Coat Drive where fans are encouraged to donate winter coats on their way into the game.
Then, on Saturday, October 22, the Hartford Wolf Pack invade PPL Center for a 7:05 p.m. contest. It will be Youth Hockey Night in downtown Allentown with a post-game autograph session with Phantoms players following the rivalry showdown. Tickets for both games next week are currently available at pplcenter.com.

The Phantoms are coming off their 20th Anniversary Season and second campaign in the Lehigh Valley playing at the state-of-the-art PPL Center. Established in 1996, the Phantoms spent their first 13 seasons at the Spectrum in Philadelphia before re-locating to Glens Falls, New York in 2009 where the team spent the next five seasons as the Adirondack Phantoms. A new era of Phantoms hockey began in the fall of 2014 when the Lehigh Valley Phantoms began play at the state-of-the-art PPL Center. Through 19 incredibly successful campaigns, the Phantoms have captured two Calder Cup Championships (1998, 2005), two Conference Championships (1998, 2005), two Regular Season Titles (1996-97, 1997-98) and four Division Championships (1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99, 2003-04).
