Rochester Americans News Release
Rochester, NY- The Rochester Americans announced today the team has once again partnered with New York's 529 College Savings Plan for the return of the Amerks Jr. Reporter Program for the 2016-17 season.
The Jr. Reporter contest, which is open to Western New York residents ages 8-12, will see one winner per month (November through March) win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interview an Amerks player or coach, just like the reporters do. Winners will also receive an Amerks jersey and four suite tickets to an upcoming Amerks home game.
To enter the contest, kids and their parents can visit www.amerks.com/jrreporter to submit a video of a sample interview and provide comments as to why they should be selected as an Amerks Jr. Reporter.
Whether you're a parent, grandparent, or someone with a special child in your life, New York's 529 College Savings Program Direct Plan can make saving for your child's future easier.
