BURLINGTON, VT --- Vermont Lake Monsters pitcher PJ Dean, outfielder Michael Guerrero and catcher Derek Norris have been selected to play in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game on Tuesday, August 19th at Tri-City's Bruno Stadium in Troy, New York.

Dean is 3-0 with a 0.49 ERA in eight starts this season for the Lake Monsters. The 19-year-old right-hander has allowed just two earned runs on 19 hits with 10 walks and 30 strikeouts over 37 innings pitched. His 0.49 ERA would lead the New York-Penn League, but Dean is roughly five innings short of the minimum innings required.

Guerrero is hitting .267 (55-for-206) with 23 runs, 13 doubles, seven homers and 36 RBI in 51 games for Vermont. The 21-year-old is tied for sixth in the league in doubles and home runs, while his 36 RBI are tied for third-most in the NY-Penn League.

Norris is batting .278 (44-for-158) with 29 runs, eight doubles, seven homers and 25 RBI in 49 games for the Lake Monsters. The 19-year-old has also walked 44 times this season (nine walks shy of the Vermont single-season record) and leads the New York-Penn League with an on-base percentage of .452 (45 points ahead of second-place Adam Amar of Auburn's .407 OBP).
