Dayton Dragons Announce 2022 Schedule

DAYTON, OHIO - The Dayton Dragons today announced their game schedule for the 2022 season, the Dragons 22nd year of baseball.

The Dragons will open the 2022 High-A Central League season at home on Friday, April 8 when they host the Fort Wayne TinCaps at Day Air Ballpark. This will be the first of 66 Dragons home games in 2022 as part of a 132-game full-season schedule that will conclude on Sunday, September 11. The final home game of the regular season is Sunday, September 4.

The Dragons will be home on Monday, July 4 when they host the West Michigan Whitecaps. They will have nine home games in April, 13 in May, 17 in June, nine in July, 14 in August, and four in September.

Similar to the Dragons schedule in 2021, most series in 2022 will be scheduled for six games, Tuesday through Sunday, will a few exceptions (see the attached full-season schedule). All Mondays are scheduled as off-days except July 4.

Game times will be announced at a later date.

The High-A Central League features two six-team divisions and includes teams from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

The Dragons play at beautiful, downtown Day Air Ballpark and are scheduled to play six more home games during the regular season. Game times are 7:05 p.m. for Tuesday through Saturday games and 2:05 p.m. on Sundays. Gates open one hour prior to game time.
