Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL will entertain their 2,000,000th fan this year, while they celebrate their 15th Anniversary season. That lucky fan will be featured during a ceremonial pre-game puck drop and will receive a pair of season tickets for the 2006-2007 season.

"Two million is really an incredible number when you think about the challenges of minor league franchises," said Bombers President Costa Papista. "This team has a very loyal fan base and it's great for us to experience a milestone of this magnitude."

Head Coach and General Manager Don MacAdam added, "Fifteen seasons and two million fans is something for hockey fans in Ohio to be very proud of."

The Dayton Bombers joined the ECHL in 1991. The team has entertained 1,898,642 fans in the regular season, 73,795 fans in the post-season, and 19,153 fans through five games this season. The total number of fans in fourteen-plus seasons is 1,991,590. The Bombers are 8,410 fans from the milestone of 2,000,000.
