
David Ménard Named Player of the Month

Montreal ¬" The Canadian Football League announced Wednesday that defensive lineman David Ménard was named the league's players of the month in October.
The 31-year-old helped the Alouettes win four of their five games in October. In five clashes, Ménard made nine defensive tackles, earned six sacks, resulting in losses of 26 yards for opponents. He also forced two fumbles. The Chicoutimi native ranks second in the CFL with eight sacks.
The Alouettes will be back in action on Saturday, November 6 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Investors Group Field at 7 p.m. ET.
