The Canadian Football League announced Wednesday that Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has been named one of the CFL's Top Performers of the Month for October.

Masoli, 33, started four games for the Tiger-Cats in October, completing 89-of-118 passes (75.4%) for 1,261 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions. The 5-10, 215-pound native of San Francisco, California also added 12 carries for 99 rushing yards over that span, and threw for over 300 yards and at least two touchdowns in three consecutive games to close out the month.

Montreal's David Menard and Winnipeg's Zach Collaros, first and second in voting respectively, join Masoli (3rd) as October's CFL Top Performers of the Month. The three players were chosen by a panel of judges who independently send their selections to the CFL head office.
