David Jacobson Could Set Jets Goaltending Record

David Jacobson needs one more win to become the all-time leader in wins by a Janesville Jets goaltender surpassing Matt Wichorek's total of 19 wins last year.

If the Jets win tonight on the road versus the Motor City Metal Jackets, and David Jacobson is in goal, David will set the record of 20 wins.

David has played in 29 Jets games so far this year, and has a record of 19 wins, 8 losses, and 2 overtime losses. He leads the NAHL in shut-outs, with an amazing 7 so far this year. The next highest shut-out total number by a NAHL goalie this season is 3.

David is also second in the NAHL with a GAA (goals against average) of 1.94, with first place being 1.91. He also has a SV% (save percentage) of .924, with first place being an extremely close .927.

David Jacobson was once gain named NAHL Goaltender of the Week for his two shut-outs against Motor City at home on January 6th and 7th, turning away a total of 45 shots.
