Dash for Cash a Huge Success

The Green Bay Gamblers and North Shore Bank teamed up this past Saturday (1/23) to raise $9,197.00 for local area high, middle and elementary schools. Twenty-one teachers representing the communities of Appleton, Brillion, DePere, Green Bay, Kewaunee, Mishicot, Marinette, Pulaski and Wrightstown collected various amounts for their school by taking part in the Dash for Cash promotion. A season-high crowd of 6,417 was on hand for the event.

Promotion consists of $6,500 (dollar bills) being placed at center ice. All 21 teachers race to center ice and collect as much of the $6,500 as they can. An additional $2,697 was raised through the evening's ticket sales. North Shore Bank has served as the presenting sponsor of Dash for Cash since 2008.

Bay Port High School, Green Bay Preble High School, Green Bay Southwest High School, Green Bay West High School, Mishicot High School, Wrightstown High School, Brillion Middle School, Kewaunee Middle School, Marinette Middle School, Brillion Elementary, Fairview Elementary, Forest Glen Elementary, Howard Elementary, Kewaunee Elementary, Meadowbrook Elementary, O.H. Schultz Elementary, St. John's Lutheran School, Sunnyside Elementary, Sunrise Elementary, Westside Elementary and Westwood Elementary

The Gamblers and North Shore Bank will be teaming up again on March 19 to raise funds for the American Heart Association.
