Dash and Nationals Rained Out

Winston-Salem Dash News Release
WOODBRIDGE, VA (AUGUST 19, 2011) - Friday night's game between the Winston-Salem Dash and the Potomac Nationals has been postponed because of rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 5:30 p.m.
About 30 minutes before the scheduled start of Friday's game, a violent thunderstorm rolled through northern Virginia, eventually submerging Pfitzner Stadium in rainwater to force the postponement. RHP Jake Petricka (3-6, 4.04) and RHP Andre Rienzo (5-4, 3.32) are expected to start Saturday's games for Winston-Salem with RHP Paul Demny (8-10, 4.76) and RHP Adam Olbrychowski (4-7, 4.39) throwing for Potomac. The Dash return to BB&T Ballpark for their final home stand of the 2011 regular season on Friday, August 26.
