Dartmouth Wins Great Mooseheads Jersey Race

The first ever Great Mooseheads Jersey Race ended with a bang Friday as the Dartmouth Whalers were victorious by the narrowest of margins over Cole Harbour and Bedford Minor Hockey Associations. The Mooseheads will now wear replica Dartmouth Whalers jerseys for their game on Friday, March 18th versus the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
The big winners among the teams were the Dartmouth Novice Explosion. The Explosion team members will receive the autographed Mooseheads Whalers jerseys worn that night plus they will line up on the blue line pre-game with the Mooseheads.
"The Mooseheads would like to thank all the Minor Hockey Associations and teams that participated in the Great Jersey Race", stated Brian Urquhart, Vice President Business Operations. "It is overwhelming to see the support the Mooseheads receive from the minor hockey community each season."
All Minor Hockey Associations will be offered special discounted pricing for their teams for the game on March 18th against Bathurst, celebrating the Great Mooseheads Jersey Race. Team tickets can be purchased for this game for only $7 in the upper bowl, $11 for Adults and $8 for Youth in the lower bowl by calling 496-5990 or emailing groups@halifaxmooseheads.ca
