Danbury, CT - The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks are proud to announce the 2023-24 schedule!
The Jr. Hat Tricks will play 56 games in the North American Hockey League's East Division, split with 28 games at the Danbury Ice Arena and 28 games on the road. In addition, the Jr. Hat Tricks will play four games at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN, between September 13th and 16th for a grand total of 60 games.
The season begins with a two-game home set against the New Jersey Titans at the Danbury Ice Arena on September 8th and 9th.
Danbury makes their first road trip to Hooksett, NH, to face the New Hampshire Mountain Kings on September 22nd and 23rd. The Mountain Kings will pay their first visit to the Danbury Ice Arena on October 6th and 7th.
The 2023 portion of the calendar ends with a road trip to Rochester, NY, for the first meeting with the East's other new franchise, the Rochester Jr. Americans, on December 15th and 16th. The Jr. Americans make their first appearance at the Danbury Ice Arena on March 1st and 2nd.
2024 starts with a weekend set on January 12th and 13th against the Johnstown Tomahawks.
The home schedule concludes with a weekend series against the defending East Division Champion Maryland Black Bears on March 29th and 30th. The regular season concludes the following week with a road trip for two games against the Philadelphia Rebels on April 5th and 6th.
The Jr. Hat Tricks featured seven players who earned NCAA hockey commitments last season; among them, Patriks Berzins, who represented his home nation of Latvia at the World Junior Championships last season, and is committed to attend the University of Maine in the 2023-24 season.
