
Logan Furstenau Commits to Trine University

Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release
The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Logan Furstenau has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Trine University.
Furstenau, 20, just completed his second and final season playing in the NAHL, which was spent between Danbury and the Shreveport Mudbugs.
The 6'4/220 lbs. native of St. Clair, MI, began the 2022-23 season with Shreveport, appearing in five games and recording two goals. In late September, he was traded to Danbury where he played in 46 regular season games for the Jr. Hat Tricks and recorded 19 points (8 goals, 11 assists).
Furstenau spent his rookie season with the Mudbugs in 2021-22, recording six points in 33 games played.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, he spent three seasons playing in the NAPHL for Meijer AAA. His best season came in 2020-21 with the 18U team where he recorded 15 points in 19 NAPHL games played. He also had four goals in four Dixon Cup Playoff games and was selected to and played in the 2020-21 NAPHL 18U All-Star Game.
In 47 career NAPHL games with Meijer's 18U team, he recorded 27 points.
