The Mississippi Braves announce that LHP Dan Smith has been promoted to AAA Richmond. Smith was 4-2 with an ERA of 1.94 through nine games in Mississippi. He struck out 41 while walking 20 in 51 innings. Smith held opponents to an average of .204.
The Mississippi Braves roster now has 22 active players.
