MOBILE, AL - The BayBears season-high three game winning streak came to an end Friday at Hank Aaron Stadium, falling to Huntsville 3-1. The BayBears record is now 25-23, and they have won two of the first three games against the Stars.

The BayBears scored the first run Friday, on a third inning double by Emilio Bonifacio. Huntsville scored three times in the fifth inning, on an error by left fielder Jarred Ball, and RBI singles by Carlos Corporan and Adam Heether. Jonathan Castellanos (5-4) took the loss for Mobile, allowing three runs on nine hits in five innings.

Huntsville starter Adam Pettyjohn (3-2) lasted a season-high eight innings, surrendering just one earned run on four hits in the win. Marino Salas pitched a scoreless ninth inning for his ninth save.

Offensively for Mobile, no players had more than one hit, one night after scoring 10 runs on 14 hits. Osbek Castillo, A.J. Shappi and Mark Rosen combined to shut out the Stars for the final four innings.
