Damion Lowe Earns USL Team of the Week Honors After Leading S2 to Second Shutout of the Season

SEATTLE, WASH. - After scoring his first goal and leading Sounders FC 2 to its second shutout and first road win of the season against Timbers 2 last Friday, Damion Lowe has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 10. Both Andy Craven and Charlie Lyon were listed on the bench having received a partial vote. With the victory, S2 moves into first place in the USL Western Conference.

S2 (6-3-1, 19 points) will face T2 (3-4-2, 11 points) in the Third Round of Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Wednesday, May 27 at Starfire Stadium (1:00 p.m. PT / live-streamed on SoundersFC.com). The winner of Wednesday's contest advances to face MLS side Real Salt Lake. Following Wednesday's match, S2 travels to Irvine to face third-place Orange County Blues FC (5-3-0, 15 points) on Saturday in Week 11 of USL regular-season play (7:00 p.m. PT / live-streamed on SoundersFC.com).
