FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled center Roope Hintz from the Texas Stars.

Hintz, 22, has skated in 21 AHL contests with Texas this season and has recorded 22 points (9-13=22). He shares sixth on the club in goals (9) and eighth in power play goals (2). The forward has recorded five points (2-3=5) in 25 NHL contests with Dallas in 2018-19.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Tampere, Finland was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (49th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, and continue their home-stand against the Grand Rapids Griffins on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 7:00 p.m. Full-season, 24-game and 12-game ticket packages for the 2018-19 campaign are on sale now.
