Dallas Sidekicks Move 2015-16 Season Home Opener to November 13

Allen, TX (Oct. 19, 2015) - The Dallas Sidekicks will begin their run for the 2015-16 Ron Newman Cup on Friday, Nov. 13 at Allen Event Center at 7:35 p.m. The team's previously announced Oct. 24 match against the Tacoma Stars has been rescheduled to Thursday, Jan. 14.
"In the best interest of our fans, we felt that we needed a little more time to get our ducks in a row in order for us to bring the best roster and game presentation we can," Assistant Coach Nick Stavrou said. "We are very thankful to the Tacoma Stars for granting our request to reschedule the game. There is a lot of good history there, and we know that fans of both teams are looking forward to the matchup."
This month the Sidekicks are hard at work in training camp, fine-tuning their roster and making a game plan for the season.
"We are well on our way to putting together a talented group of players that I believe will compete very well this year," Stavrou said.
This season the Sidekicks will compete in the Pacific Division of the Major Arena Soccer League alongside the Ontario Fury, Tacoma Stars, Soles de Sonora and San Diego Sockers. For more information about the MASL, visit maslsoccer.com
